本册是与《拾级汉语》第2级“综合”课本配套的“写字”课本。“起步”课本中列出的32个基本汉字，以及第1级写字课本中列出的320个汉字，在本册中不再作为生字出现。

    每课选取“综合课本”中严格限定的20个读写字作为主要教学内容，要求学生既能认读又能书写。每课内容分“汉字”“练习”“看看古代的汉字”和“简繁体对照”四个部分。前两部分是教学重点，后两部分仅供学习者根据需要选择使用。单元小结复习总结前面三课学习的汉字，包括“汉字库”“汉字结构”“汉字认读技巧”“练习”和“汉字知识”几个部分。 

    随书附赠汉字练习本1本，供学习者课后练习汉字使用，方便实用。

This booklet is a "Chinese Character" textbook that is matched with the "Comprehensive" textbook of Level 2 of the Chinese. The 32 basic Chinese characters listed in the “Starting” textbook, as well as the 320 Chinese characters listed in the first-level writing textbook, no longer appear as raw words in this volume.

     Each lesson selects 20 literacy words strictly defined in the “Comprehensive Textbook” as the main teaching content, requiring students to read and write. Each lesson is divided into four parts: “Chinese characters”, “exercise”, “Look at ancient Chinese characters” and “Simplified and traditional Chinese”. The first two parts are the focus of teaching, and the last two parts are for the learner to choose according to their needs. The unit summary review summarizes the Chinese characters studied in the previous three lessons, including the "Chinese character library", "Chinese character structure", "Chinese character recognition skills", "exercise" and "Chinese character knowledge".

     Attached to the book is a Chinese character exercise book for the learner to practice the use of Chinese characters after class, convenient and practical.
