"Developing Chinese" (2nd edition) is a national higher education planning textbook for the "11th Five-Year Plan" period. Based on the good structure of the original "Developing Chinese," the book is designed to keep pace with the times and includes 28 volumes of 34 volumes.

This set of teaching materials adopts a combination of "comprehensive language ability training and special language skills training" in foreign language teaching and teaching materials. It is divided into three levels and five series. It is vertically divided into three levels: beginning, middle and high level.
